  2. Not sure if you have sorted this but move the head backwards until you see and exposed hex grub screw under the position of the stop, remove this along with spring and the pin comes out.

  3. Hello. Nice project!

    I got an Aciera F3 myself and really like it.
    Never the less i have a problem with the little pin acting as a spindle lock on the head stock. The gear teeth on the end are worn out. some one in the past have probably forgott it when starting the machine.
    do you know how its mounted? I can’t find any stop screw or something holding it in place

    • Hi Magnus,
      I’m not near my F3 at the moment, but I seem to recall there is a screw/pin that holds the spindle lock in place – from the back of the head?
      I’ll try and have a look for you.
