I will be fitting a 3 axis digital readout in due course so I thought I would create a separate section for this. I will add to this as and when I design the decoder mounts etc. What did occur to me was that this machine has two tapped holes in the back of the main carriage ready for mounting the Z decoder: (unless these are used for something else!!)
How is the DRO fitting coming on?

I am really looking forward to seeing your ideas of fitting a DRO to the F3!
retro fitted ones always seem to be a bit bitty to me, cables everywhere and sometimes a loss of travel as a result of how they are placed!
I have the basic ideas at the moment and should b able to start this next month… keep watching!! Matt
