{"id":440,"date":"2016-05-06T18:16:08","date_gmt":"2016-05-06T17:16:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.aciera.co.uk\/?p=440"},"modified":"2017-08-28T08:33:04","modified_gmt":"2017-08-28T07:33:04","slug":"gearbox-pulley","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.aciera.co.uk\/?p=440","title":{"rendered":"Gearbox pulley"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I think I mentioned that the pullet came off the spindle a little quicker than I had anticipated and when it hit the motor, I noticed the pulley was cracked and chipped. Inspection revealed it was cracked before as the metal had rust in the crack. Anyway, I decided to braze the pulley and then skim it back to shape on the lathe. Below are two phots looking at either side of the pulley.
